1. Our mission
DigiTrustly exists to make digital trust easier to examine and prove. We combine independent human assessment with public verification technology so that certification is not merely claimed — it can be checked.
2. Our core principle
Applicants may pay for an assessment, but payment does not guarantee approval. Certification follows only after DigiTrustly has completed its review and decided that the applicable criteria are met.
3. Independent private certification
DigiTrustly is an independent private certification provider. Unless specifically stated otherwise for a particular program, DigiTrustly is not a government authority, regulator or ISO accreditation body. DigiTrustly certification represents a DigiTrustly assessment against the applicable DigiTrustly criteria.
4. How certification works
- Applicant submits an application.
- Applicant pays the assessment fee.
- DigiTrustly performs technical checks and human review.
- DigiTrustly approves, rejects or requests further information.
- If approved, the applicant chooses a certification period.
- DigiTrustly activates the certificate and public verification record.
- Where applicable, the customer receives access to official QR-enabled seals and verification tools.
5. Verification technology
DigiTrustly certificates can be linked to public verification records. QR-enabled seals provide a direct route from a certified website to the public certificate record, helping visitors verify the certificate ID, subject and current status.
A copied badge or logo by itself is not proof of active certification.
6. Certification scope
DigiTrustly may offer different certification programs for websites, digital services and music-related verification. Each program may have separate criteria, evidence requirements, validity periods and permitted uses of certification materials.
7. Integrity principles
- Approval must be earned.
- Certificate status should be clear and verificable.
- Suspended, revoked or expired certification must not be presented as active.
- Certification should not be represented as broader than its actual scope.
- DigiTrustly may request updated evidence where appropriate.
